On Friday morning we invite you to a full-day trip through the scenic locations in the vicinity of Cracow.
We will start with the famous ancient salt mine in Wieliczka – one of the most precious historical sites in Poland.
     "The ancient salt mine in Wieliczka is a unique mining site, the only such facility in the world that has been in continuous operation since the Middle Ages until the present day. Its original excavations (galleries, ramps, excavation chambers, underground lakes, mineshafts, etc.), having ca.300 km in length and located at nine levels reaching down 327 metres, illustrate all the development stages of mining techniques in different historical periods."
